Our Open Source Licensing Helpdesk is our law firm's new free service aimed primarily at open source developers wishing to understand the legal implications of the licences they encounter, as well as the issues caused by combining code licensed under different licenses together. If you become a subscriber to the helpdesk program, you are given access to the help desk email address, to which you can send your licensing questions and receive a reply via email. Be aware that your questions and our answers can be published in our open source licensing knowledgebase.

As this is a free service, we cannot provide any guarantees as regards response-times, and due to the simplified nature of the process, the answers should be used for information purposes only. More thorough legal assessments always a detailed consultation with a lawyer.
